I just finished the 2004 diary. I hope you enjoy it. 2003 is not done
yet (in case you look for it). I waited too long for the update, now I
have to check my records to help my memory. So please be patient.

This 1962 Lincoln Continental Convertible was
imported to Germany in 1965. It belonged for four years to a famous
German banker, Prinz Johannes von Thurn und Taxis. It was sold in 1969
and changed owner again in 1972. Two months later the license was
cancelled. The car was discovered after 26 years in 1998 and restored
to the condition as shown. It now has a new top, new leather and some
other newer parts such as trunk lid and chrome parts. I purchased the
car end of 1999 from the person who did the restoration. The
restoration was done well enough to obtain a license for historical
(classic) cars, indicated by the additional letter "H" behind the
standard license number.
